It has been my honor to serve the Greentown and Lake Township communities since 2002 when I was hired as a part-time firefighter paramedic. I also served in the rank of Lieutenant and Captain before being promoted to Assistant Chief in 2007.
My fire service career began in 1996 when my father and I joined Rush Township Volunteer Fire Department in southern Tuscarawas County. What had seemed like a fun adventure and a way to serve my community at the time, turned into a wonderful career opportunity. In addition to my position with Greentown Fire, I work full-time for the City of Canton Fire Department where I am currently assigned as the captain of truck 4 on the third battalion. I also instruct for the emergency services division of Stark State College.
I am only able to pursue this wonderful career because of my loving and supportive family which includes my wife Nikki, who I married in 2001, our son Reed and our daughter Myla.
